Children & Youth – speaks faith and welcome into the lives of our children and youth. Volunteers in this area might find themselves providing meals or snacks, chaperoning activities and mission experiences, teaching or leading classes/small groups/gatherings. Requires a big heart and a little patience. Background checks are required.

Community Engagement – seeks to connect Grace Community with the world beyond our walls. Sometimes this takes the form of mission outreach. That is, both hands on and financial support for ministries and organizations seeking to meet tangible needs in the world around us. This team is also tasked with providing in-roads for folks in the community to become more aware of, and active in, Grace Community. Most often this takes the shape of fellowship events like our Fall Fest or opening our doors to community groups.

Internal Engagement – our ministry team tasked with creating opportunities for those within our church community to make connections and draw support from one another. This could include opportunities like fellowship meals, movie nights etc, as well as our welcome team who enthusiastically greets our Sunday morning worshippers, helping folks find their place here. This team goes a long way in implementing our core values of belonging and family.

Facilities – supports our various ministries by ensuring that we have safe, inviting, well maintained and functioning buildings and grounds. This team actively makes repairs, oversees updates, and makes sure our facilities are secure between our many activities. Keeping up attractive and functional spaces is a never-ending but rewarding task.

Faith Formation – pays attention to where people are on their faith journeys and provides varying opportunities to assist folks along the way. Among other things, their energy is spent on leading classes/small groups, providing resources for ongoing groups, noting what topics, classes and experiences might need to be offered to inspire and promote growth in both our corporate and individual faith journeys.

Finance – consults with our leadership board on ensuring our ministries are well funded, establishing budgets, financial accountability procedures, and our annual stewardship campaign. A vision for long term financial support in an ever-changing non-profit financial culture is a big plus for team members of the Finance Team.

Worship – assists in all areas of worship including serving in our music ministry for our various worship services as a vocalist or musician (easy-going “audition” required). This also includes folks to run sound, live stream, worship media and cameras. Some training can be provided.
